Had a facility manager last week run a 48-unit residential panel retrofit with these, swapping out older C-curve breakers that kept nuisance-tripping on the LED lighting loads—went with B-curve across the 10A poles and the nuisance trips dropped to zero.
Rated at 230/400V AC at 50/60Hz, the SG65-63 line covers 6A through 63A in single-pole, two, three, or four-pole configurations, and the 10kA breaking capacity handles most commercail distribution panels we see (usually 6-10kA is the sweet spot for these). Silver alloy contacts, air break arc extinction, and that PA66 housing (UL94 V-0) mean it's good for 10,000 mechanical operations or so. DIN rail mount, 18mm per pole, terminals take up to 25mm².
We see most buyers go with the C-curve for general motor loads or transformers, but it's critical to note the operating tempearture range is -25°C to +55°C—if you're running these in an unventilated enclosure near a furnace or boiler, you'll want to derate trip current. Also, IP20 means they're fine for indoor distribution boards but absolutely not suited for washdown areas or outdoor enclosures without addtional IP-rated housing. What it does is handle overload and short-circuit protection per IEC60898 and GB10963.1, so it's CE, CB, and CCC certified.
Lead time is typically 2-3 weeks for the 1P and 2P variants, but the 3P and 4P might stretch to 30 days or so depending on the current rating—confirm stock before committing to a large order.
