Basically, the C curve is what you’d use for lighting and general outlets, while the D curve handles motor starts with higher inrush—most buyers go with the C curve unless they know they’ve got inductive loads. The leakage trip options are 30mA, 50mA, 100mA, or 300mA, and teh 30mA is pretty much standerd for personal protection in wet areas.
