We've been running these MCS0328 units in our facility for a while now, and the 1500W power supply handles the plasma exchange cycles pretty much without a hitch — it's a workhorse for immune disease cases like lupus nephritis or myasthenia gravis.
The ultrasonic blood monitoring is actually a nice touch, catching air or foam before it becomes an issue, and the backup power keeps you going for 15-30 minutes during a brief outage (usually enough to finish a session). Most buyers go with chemcial disinfection for compliance, though the TMP range of -100 to +600 mmHg gives you flexibility for different patient needs.
You'll want to keep the dialysate flow between 300-800 ml/min for results, and the UF flow goes up to 4000 ml/h, but for plasma exchange specifically, we typically run it closer to 2000 or so. The dimensions are 162×68×82 cm, so it fits in most standdard treatment rooms without much fuss.
Lead time is roughly 30-45 days form order, and we usually have stock for the 1500W model — the smaller power units are more prone to. CE certifcation is included, and we provide COA with each unit, but confirm your local import requirements before we ship.
One thing we've learned: it's not great for pediatric cases due to flow ranges, as the minimum settings can be a bit aggressive for smaller patients — we had a buyer try it and switch to a dedicated pediatric machine later.
It has CE certification, which means it meets European safety, health, and environmental standards. We can share the certificate on request.
