It's basically the MCX0022, a haemodialysis machine with online HDF, HD, and online HF functions — we needed one that could handle all three without swapping units. The 15-inch LCD shows arterial pressure, venous pressrue, and transmembrane pressure in real time, which cuts down on manual checks during a session. It weighs 88kg, so it's not a portable unit, but it's stable on a hospital floor.
We're ordering it for the nephrology wing where we've been seeing more patients who need teh ultra-pure dialysate filter for better infection control — the standard setup wasn't it for some of the longer treatments. The sodium concentration and UF curve profiling let us tailor the session more precisely, which is something the docs have been asking for. It's not suited for home use or small clinics because the setup and maintenance are too involved.
The CE certifcation was a must for our compliance, and the automatic disinfection cleaning program means less downtime between patients — usually about 20 minutes or so for a full cycle. It also has blood leakage detection and bubble detection, so the safety team is satisfied with the redundancy there. We'll get a COA with the unit, though I'd confirm the lead time since it's coming from China (usually 2-4 weeks).
Most hospitals go with the white finish, and it's customiezd to some extent — our company can specify the dialysate filter type and a few interface tweaks, but the core specs are fixed. The 88kg weight is actually a plus for stability during high-flux treatments, but you'll need a dedicated floor mount or cart. We usually have stock, but check MOQ on the order form.
