The gear ratio range is 3G to 300G, which is flexible enough for most feed or spindle drives. it come in induction, reversible, torque, and speed control motor types — the torque type is better than the induction one if you need constant tension or positioning. Gearbox options are parallel shaft, right angle, or L type — the parallel shaft is what we usually stock for machine tools, but the right angle saves space if your layout is tight. Casing protection is standdard, not IP-rated, so it's fine for dry indoor environments but not for washdown or dusty shops. One thing you might not think to ask: the 60W and above units have cooling fans built in, but below that they don't — so check your thermal load if you're pushing a 40W motor hard.
