We’ve been using these full casting alumnum chair units for about six months now, and they handle daily clinic traffic pretty well without any major hiccups—the single-shot casting gives the frame a solid feel you don’t get with welded steel. It’s basically stable enough that you don’t feel any wobble even when adjusting the backrest from 110° to 170° mid-procedure. The 1900mm length accommodates taller patients comfortably, though the max load is 135kg so larger builds might push it.
So the chair height adjusts from 410mm to 760mm, which suits most adult patients, but the real trick is the three memory programs for positioning. You can save your preferred settings and switch between them with the foot pedal or assistant tray controls. The handpiece speeds are standard: high speed at or above 300,000 r/min and low speed at 14,000 r/min, both fine for routine restorative work. LED lamp intensity varies from 8,000 to 15,000 Lux with color temperature adjustable between 3,000K and 5,000K, so you can dial in what works for composite curing or just general visibility.
It’s not ideal for pediatric clinics though—the spittoon flow rate is over 1,000ml/min and the saliva ejector pulls at least 400ml/min, which is overkill for smaller mouths and might startle kids. For adult restorative or hygiene procedures, those flow rates actually keep the field clear without constant interruption. mouthwash temperature stays between 35°C and 45°C, which patients tend to appreciate more than cold water.
One detail you wouldn’t think to ask: the ceramic spittoon is removable and cleans up much easier than the plastic ones we used before. It’s heavier but worth it. The cushions are hand-sewn ultra-fiber leather, and they’ve held up to daily cleaning with disinfectants without cracking—usually 6 months of use and still looking decent. CE and ISO 13485 certification covers the basics for clinical safety, but we always verify the COA before accepting a batch anyway.
Power supply is AC220V, 50Hz, drawing 1,000W input, so make sure your clinic wiring handles it—some older setups need an electrician to check. Operating temperature range is 5°C to 40°C, with relative humidity at 80% max, which covers most indoor environments. Air pressrue needs to be at least 0.5MPa with gas flow above 50L/min, so confirm your compressor capacty before ordering. Lead time is typically 4 to 6 weeks, but we usually have stock for 10 units or so.
It lets you save three preset positions for the chair and backrest, so you can quickly adjust to your preferred treatment angles without reprogramming each time.
