It won't handle wire under 1.0 mm, so if you're running thin-gauge autobody work or fine jewelry welds, this isn't the unit — but for structural fabrication on 1.6 mm stainlss or aluminun, the four toothed rolls grab consistently without slipping, and we've seen operators dial in fish-scale patterns on 3mm plate in about 20 minutes or so.
