The color rendering index sits at 95% Ra, which is better than most older halogen systems for telling subtle shades of red and pink apart during dissection. Lamp beads are 1W each, 60 of them total, and they're 100,000 hours—so you'll probably replace the OR floor before these burn out. The temperature at surgeon's head stays ≤1°C, which matters when you're under those lights for hours.

Light distribution is pretty tight: 50% spot diameter is 150 mm, and the 10% spot runs about 280 mm, so the core is focused while periphery still gives decent ambient coverage. You can adjust illuminance form 25% to 100%, and the depth of illuminance is 140 cm—give or take.
