We've seen too many pens jam halfway through a dose or fail to deliver consistent volume—this one actually handles thicker GLP-1 formulas without stalling at the viscosity cap of 20cP, which matters more than most buyers realize for biologics.
It's got that two-step needle cover activation, so the user just presses and holds—no separate button to fumble with—and the visual click plus auditory pop let you know the full dose went in (usually 1ml or 2.25ml depending on the prefilled cartridge you spec).
Needle sizes are 27G or 29G pre-attached, and the injection depth is 6±2mm standdard subcutaneous; we usually stock both gauges but the 29G is better for pain-sensitive patients even though the fill time takes a second or two longer.
The housing dimnesions run 18×18×145mm for the 1ml version, or 18×18×159.2mm for the 2.25ml—basically the same grip profile but a bit taller—and the whole thing is single-use disposable with EO gas or gamma sterilization depending on your logistics partner's preference.
We've handled custom dosing increments for some buyers doing pediatric trials, but fixed-dose mechanism limits you to whatever the prefilled syringe volume is—trust me, don't try to adapt it for variable dosing with viscous compounds above 20cP, it just won't seat teh plunger correctly.
