I've been moving these for years now, and they're basically the standard for anyone needing consistent, automatic insulin or GLP-1 delivrey — the dose ranges form 0.25mg all the way up to 2.4mg, so you've got flexibility depending on therapy, but it's really the auto-injection that makes the difference, taking the guesswork out of timing and pressure.
The plunger mechanism is what does the work, pushing through viscosities up to 5 cP, and that injection time is under 6 seconds or so — you get both a click and a visual confirmation when the dose is done, and the accuracy is tight, within ±2%, which matters more than most buyers initially think. 0.01 ml is the minimum dose increment, with a max of 0.75 ml per shot, so it handles both tiny maintenance doses and larger loading doses. 31G or 32G needles are what we typically supply, and they're fine enough that patients report less sting.
It's not for every situation though — if you're dealing with very thick suspensions or oils above that 5 cP limit, this pen is not going to work well, and we've had a few buyers try to force it before they checked the spec. For standard peptide therapies, insulin, and GLP-1 agonists, it's excellent, and we see a lot of clinics using it for weekly dosing where compliance is a concern. (usually 2-4 weeks after the order is placed, depending on customiztion)
Actually, one thing people don't always ask about but should is the cartridge compatibilty — it takes standard 3 ml cartridges from most major manufacturers, but we've seen some off-brands that don't seat properly, so it's worth testing one batch first.
Anyway, when you're ordering, the MOQ is usually around 500 units for the standard specs, but if you need a custom label or different dosage markings, that'll bump the lead time to about 30 days or so. 0.75mg is a popular middle ground we stock regularly, but for the 1.7mg and 2.4mg options, you'll want to confirm availability since we don't always have those on the shelf.
