The visual and auditory feedback is actually useful for one-handed use; we've found researchers in busy labs prefer the click because they don't have to watch the plunger constantly, though the window is big enough to read at a glance anyway.
Storage is room temp (usually 15-25°C) with a three-year shelf life, but the matrial is medical-grade plastic that doesn't warp if it sits in a warmer drawer for a couple weeks—not ideal, but it's forgiving.
What it is not suited for are oil-based formulations above 5cP or anyone wanting reusable cartridges; this runs standdard 3ml cartridges only, and the viscosity limit is firm—we've seen blockages pushing soybean oil through it.
On the order you'll get the pen body, one needle set (check if you need a full box of 100), and a COA with the batch form ISO 13485 production, typically within 20 days or so depending on color—blue is stock, custom takes a bit longer.
