We've been running into issues with peptide stability in our longer-term assays, and teh 99.9% purity on this batch is what finally pushed us to order — it's actually tighter than what most supliers list, and for our work that extra margin matters.
The molecular weight comes out to about 4113.58 g/mol, which is right where we need it for our dosing calculations, and CAS number (910463-68-2) matches our reference standerd, so we're not dealing with a mystery compound.
We grabbed the 30mg vial because it's easier to reconstitute in one go for our cell work, but if you're doing smaller pilot runs the 5mg or 10mg options are fine — just confirm your yield needs before ordering, since custom packaging usually adds 2-3 weeks lead time.
It's a white to off-white powder, and what I didn't expect is how fine the particle size is — it dissolves noticeably faster than the reagent-grade stuff we tested last quarter, so you'll save time on reconstitution.
Storage is pretty straightforward: cool and dry, away form light, and we usually have stock on hand but check lead time if you need more than 50 vials or so — the MOQ for custom sizes isn't published, but they've been flexible in the past.
One thing to note: this is strictly for research use only, not for any in vivo work or clinical applictions, and the 15mg size is actually better suited for solubility testing than the 30mg if you're working with limited solvent volumes.
