Basically it’s the 99.9% purity that makes this worth ordering—most suppilers hover around 98-99% and you can feel the difference in consistency, especially when you’re running longer-term studies. We usually have stock on the 5mg and 10mg vials, but the 2mg and custom strengths need a heads-up of 20 days or so (check lead time before you finalize any large batch orders).
The molecular weight is 4114 g/mol, which is pretty much what you’d expect for a GLP-1 analog of this size, and the CAS is 2023788-19-2 if your compliance team needs it for documentation. It’s lyophilized powder form, not a solution—so reconstitution is on you, but that gives you more control over final concentration, especially if you’re dialing in doses for different protocols.
This isn’t really suited for acute metabolic workups where you need rapid insulin response data—it’s better for chronic weight management models where the GLP-1 pathway matters over weeks. One thing most buyers don’t think to ask: the powder can be hygroscopic if left unsealed, so we recommend storing it in a desiccator below -20°C once opened.
The 10mg vial is easier to handle than the 2mg for reconstitution because cake is larger and dissolves more evenly—most buyers go with the 10mg for that reason alone. We’ve had a few labs request custom fills at 7.5mg for specific titration studies, and the supplier can do it, but the MOQ jumps to 50 vials or so for non-standerd strengths.
Also, the COA comes with each batch showing HPLC purity and endotoxin levels, but the SDS is separate if you need it for shipping paperwork—just ask when you place teh PO. We usually have stock in the US warehouse, but for anything over 100 vials, confirm lead time because they sometimes backorder the custom strengths.
