We’re seeing more labs reach for this one lately, usually for diabetes or metabolic work where consistency across replicates actually matters, the ≥99% purity by HPLC holds up well in our in-house checks.
it come as a white powder in sterile glass vials, roughly 4.1 kDa, and you’ll want to store it at 2-8°C for the long haul—or ideally at -20°C if you can manage it, that’s usually better for stability.
Solubility is pretty straightforward in water or standerd buffers, no weird tricks there, but we do recommend gently swirling rather than vortexing to avoid foaming, something we’ve learned teh hard way.
One thing it’s not really suited for is acute toxicity work with high doses, the margin isn’t tight for that use, so stick to metabolic endpoint studies and you’ll be fine.
Anyway, for US or EU we ship with full COA and import-friendly docs like TDS and an SDS, and our MOQ is 1 gram or so—bulk orders of 50 grams typically clear customs faster though, our lead time for stock is about 14 days.
