Hammer union seals are essential components in oil drilling operations, providing fluid-tight connections between flexible hoses or pipes. These precision-engineered seals ensure reliable performance in demanding industrial environments.
Our hammer union seals feature a specialized lip design that prevents dislodgement during operation, even when inverted. The seals are compatible with various union styles including FIG1502, FIG1002, FIG602, FIG206, and FIG607 configurations. Custom designs are available based on samples or technical drawings.
Available in multiple sizes from 1'' to 4'' diameters, our seals can be manufactured with different material options to suit specific operational requirements. The standard configurations include:
Material selection is critical for optimal performance. Our seals are available in various elastomers with distinct characteristics:
NBR (Nitrile, Buna-N): Excellent oil and abrasion resistance with temperature range of -40°C to 120°C. The most widely used material for standard applications.
HNBR (Hydrogenated Nitrile): Enhanced chemical resistance with wider temperature range (-40°C to 160°C). Offers superior resistance to extrusion, abrasion, and wear, with H2S resistance up to 10%.
FKM (Fluorocarbon): Premium heat resistance (-26°C to 230°C) with excellent chemical resistance to most oils and solvents (except ketones and esters).
Our manufacturing process follows strict quality control measures to ensure consistent performance. Each seal undergoes rigorous testing to meet industry standards for high-pressure applications.
For specialized requirements, we offer custom material formulations and design modifications to address unique operational challenges in the oil and gas sector.
