We've got a crew working on a bridge expansion joint replacement, and they're fighting with a 30-ton section that has about 200mm of clearance under it—basically no room for a standard jack. That's where the ultra-thin hydraulic cylinder comes in, and it's pretty much the only thing that'll fit in that gap without having to cut or shim anything, which saves a full day of labor.
Load capacity runs from 5 tons all the way up to 500 tons, and stroke length is customizable from 50mm to 1000mm, so you can dial in exactly what your job needs—most buyers go with the 10mg...sorry, that's a different product—most go with the 100-ton double-acting single-acting option for general construction, but we've also done custom 500-ton units for heavy industrial press work.
Working pressure is 70 to 700 bar, and the seals are NBR, PU, or HNBR depending on what fluid you're running—hydraulic oil, water-glycol, whatever—and the surface treatment is hard chrome plated or painted, but honestly, for outdoor construction work, the painted finish holds up better than you'd think, though the chrome plating is tighter tolerance than most aftermarket cylinders.
What it does is use high-grade steel alloys throughout, and temperature range is -20°C to +80°C, which covers most job sites, but if you're working in arctic conditions or near a furnace, you'll want to check with us on seal materail because the standard HNBR starts getting stiff below -20°C or so. Also, the stroke length isn't one-size-fits-all—we've done 50mm on some compact jacks and 1000mm on telescopic versions for extended reach appliction.
When you order, we'll send a sample first (MOQ applies, usually 5 units or so), and lead time is typically 15 to 45 days depending on complexity—the simpler single-acting cylinders ship faster than the multi-stage telescopic ones. You get a 10-year quality assurance warranty with ISO 9001, CE, and RoHS certifications, and we'll include the COA and TDS with every shipment, but the design is customizable to your exact dimensoins or capacity if you send us a sketch.
Our MOQ varies by complexity, but for a 500-ton jack, we typically require a minimum of 5 units. Sample orders are possible with a higher per-unit cost.

For a double-acting cylinder with that stroke, lead time is usually around 30-45 days. Simpler single-acting designs can ship in 15-20 days.
Hard chrome plating is our standard surface treatment, but we can switch to painted finish if you prefer. Just specify when ordering.
For -10°C, HNBR seals are best—they handle lower temperatures better than NBR or PU. Standard NBR works fine above -20°C though.
