You’re basically looking at a flexible high-votage cable designed to handle both AC and DC fast charging—600V AC and 1000V DC are the rated limits, and we’ve seen it work reliably under continuous 200A loads without excessive heating, so it’s not just a spec sheet number.
The crosslinked silicone rubber sheath keeps it flexible down to -40°C and up to +200°C, which matters when you’re coiling it in a cold garage or running it near a hot charging station. Conductor sizes range form 0.5mm² to 400mm² (we usually stock 16mm², 35mm², and 50mm² for most EVSE builds), and the bending radius is ≥5x the outer diameter—pretty much standard for this class of cable.
It meets GBT2408 HB and V0 flame retardancy, and it’s halogen-free, so it won’t emit toxic fumes if there’s a short. One thing we don’t recommend: don’t use this for continuous immersion or underground burial without addtional conduit—the jacket isn’t that. Most buyers go with the OEM branding option, and we can print your logo or part number on cable every meter or so.
MOQ is typically 500 meters for custom colors or printing, but we can split rolls down to 100m for standard black or orange. Lead time is about 20 days or so for stock colors—confirm if you need a specific spec like 500MCM or a custom conductor stranding.
Also, teh combustion grade is V0 for the insulation and HB for the sheath, which is actually better than many standdard EV cables that only meet HB across the board. We’ve had some buyers use it for portable charging stations—works fine, but the 5xOD bending radius means you can’t kink it too tight in a trunk or case.
Anyway, the pricing scales with copper content, so a 120mm² cable will run about 30-40% more than a 50mm² one. We usually have stock on 6mm² to 35mm², but the larger sizes like 240mm² or 400mm² are made-to-order with a 4-week lead time.
