We're quoting you on the lyophilized NAD+ powder, CAS 53-84-9, with purity pushing past 99.0% and impurities under 0.5% — that's tighter than reagent grade for most metabolic studies. MOQ is typically 5 grams, and we can ship within 10 working days or so after order confirmation.
It's a white powder, molecular weight 663.43, and you'll need to reconstitute it yourself before use. What it does is serve as the key coenzyme in redox reactions and energy transfer, so it's pretty much essential for any work on cellular metabolism or sirtuin pathways.
Storage is straightforward until you open it — keep it sealed and cool (2°C to 8°C) after reconstitution, or it'll degrade faster than you'd like. Shelf life is 2 years in the dry powder form, but once it's in solution, you've got maybe 20 days or so before you'll want to re-qualify it.
One thing we've learned handling this: lyophilized cake can be hygroscopic, so open it in low-humidity enviornment or you'll get clumping. Also, it's not suited for anything involving live-cell assays without proper buffer optimization — the pH shift form reconstitution can throw results.
Packging is in sealed glass vials under argon, 1 gram or 5 grams per vial depending on your batch. We'll include the COA with HPLC data, but if you need a full SDS or TDS, just flag it in teh order — we usually have those on file.
