Had a client last month who kept blowing standard PVC cables in an underground tunnel run — ambient heat was fine but teh constant moisture and occasional mechanical stress just killed them in under a year, so we swapped them to YJV and it's been smooth since.

It's rated at 0.6/1KV with oxygen-free pure copper conductors from 1.5mm² up to 300mm², and the XLPE insulation is what does heavy lifting for thermal stability form -15°C to +90°C — the PVC sheath on top handles the abrasion and moisture, and the minimum bending radius is 15× cable diameter so you can snake it into tight trenches without damaging the core.

Works well indoors and in cable trenches or underground ducts, but it's not suited for direct burial in rocky soil unless you add mechancial protection — the tensile strength is ≥12.5 N/mm² and elongation at break is ≥150%, so it's tougher than most but still has limits. Also, the flame retardant property is a bonus for indoor runs near equiment rooms.

Most buyers go with 3-core or 4+1 configurations for standerd distribution, but single-core is easier to handle for long pulls (usually 50 units or so per order). We can customize lengths, just confirm lead time (typically 20 days or so) and we'll get you a COA with HPLC data on the copper purity.
We can do as low as 500 meters for larger cross-sections like 300 mm², but for standard sizes we're flexible. Drop us a message with your target quantity and we'll confirm.
Yes, we include ISO9001, CE, CCC, and RoHS cert copies with every order. Just let your sales rep know if you need any specific format or notarized copies.
Absolutely. 4+1 core is one of our standard options, and 240 mm² falls within our 1.5-300 mm² range. We can produce that combination without any custom tooling.
Keep them in a dry, covered area off the ground, away from direct sunlight and heat sources. The PVC sheath can handle temps down to -15°C, but avoid stacking heavy loads on the coils.
It's designed for underground use and has good mechanical strength with tensile strength ≥12.5 N/mm², but for rocky soil we'd recommend adding a protective conduit or using an armored version. The PVC sheath alone might get damaged by sharp rocks.
