The TNCW1-1600 universal frame circuit breaker is a high-performance mechanical switchgear designed for power distribution systems. This circuit breaker can connect, carry and disconnect current under normal circuit conditions, while also providing protection against abnormal conditions such as overload, undervoltage, and short circuits.
Featuring a robust steel frame construction, all components are securely housed within the frame. The breaker offers large capacity operation and can be equipped with multiple functional release devices and auxiliary contacts. Its high segmentation capability and thermal stability make it ideal for applications requiring superior breaking capacity and selective protection.
The three-dimensional arrangement includes a contact system and instantaneous overcurrent release mounted on an insulation board. The upper section contains the arc extinguishing system, while the operating mechanism can be installed at the front or right side with clear 'open' and 'close' indicators. Additional features include a shunt release, undervoltage release, and provisions for installing various protective devices.
This intelligent universal circuit breaker is specifically designed for AC 50Hz power networks with rated voltages of 380V and 660V. It provides comprehensive protection for power distribution systems against various electrical faults while maintaining high reliability through selective protection functions. Models below 1250A can also be used for motor protection in 380V networks.
The breaker operates effectively within environmental conditions including ambient temperatures from -5°C to +40°C, altitudes up to 2000m, and relative humidity not exceeding 50% at 40°C. It supports both vertical and horizontal installation configurations to suit various application requirements.
