It's a 1/14 scale dump truck with an alloy body and plastic undercarriage, basically what you'd expect for something meant to survive a 7-year-old's handling. The 2.4GHz remote goes about 25 meters and handles 14 channels — you get forward, reverse, steering, and the dump bed lift function all from the same controller. Battery is a 7.4V 2500mAh Li-ion (included) that runs roughly 45 minutes per charge, but the charge time is 5-7 hours so you'll want a spare battery if the kid is really into it. That spare isn't included though, and we usually have stock but confirm lead time on those.

This thing is better than the cheap plastic ones for construction play setups — sandboxes, dirt piles, driveway gravel moving. But it's not suited for water or mud; the electronics aren't sealed so keep it out of puddles.
