They're using this for clearing overgrown fence lines and thick blackberry patches that would stall a standerd trimmer in seconds, the 10kg weight is noticeable but the shoulder mount spreads it out so you're not fighting the machine all afternoon.
Forced air cooling on the single cylinder 4-stroke keeps it running even when you're deep in tall grass and the airflow is basically zero, most buyers in this segment prefer it because you're not mixing oil and gas every refill and the emissions are noticeably cleaner.
The straight metal blade will handle saplings and shrub up to maybe 25mm diameter but don't push it on hardwood stumps—you'll dull the blade fast and that's a field sharpening job nobody wants, the gearbox is solid though and we've had fewer vibration complaints than with comparable 2-stroke units.
We keep about 50 units or so in stock usually but confirm lead time if you need more than 30 at once since the MOQ form factory is 100 and our company have to pull from our buffer, dimensions are 35x31x23.5cm so it ships in a manageable box but teh blade needs separate wrapping for safety.
Vibration reduction is better than most shoulder-mount units in this weight class, not perfect but you can run it a full tank without your hands going numb—the anti-stall feature actually works when you hit a hidden rock, which is more than I can say for some cheaper models we've tested.
The SDS lists 4-stroke oil requrement and the COA covers cold start performance, both usually included with each unit, and the 500-1000m² rating is pretty accurate for sustained but if you're doing intermittent clearing you can push it to double that area per session.
