We’ve been sourcing from this suplier for about three years now, and the consistency holds up across batches even when we switch between the 2.4mm and 3.0mm diameters for different site conditions, the 100% Nylon6 material doesn’t fray like some of the copolymer blends we tried before, and that’s actually a big deal when you’re running a fleet of six or seven brush cutters daily.

2.7mm is what most of our crews prefer for general roadside work, it’s good middle ground between speed and durability, but for heavier blackberry or sapling patches the 3.0mm star profile cuts noticeably better than round—less binding in wet grass, basically, and you can hear the engine stay at a steadier RPM.

They offer four quality grades (common, commercial, professional, ultra) and we’ve settled on the professional grade for most orders, the ultra grade is tighter tolerance on the diameter, like 2.7mm ±0.02mm versus ±0.05mm, but we’ve never had a line break issue with the professional on our gas-powered trimmers anyway, so it’s not worth the premium unless someone’s running commercail zero-turn mowers with high-torque heads.

Lead time is usually 20 days or so for 500kg orders on the 3lb spools, but if you need card head packaing or the 10lb doughnuts it’s more like 25-30 days—they’ll do custom colors too, we’ve got orange and yellow for visibility on one site, but the green and red are always in stock and ship faster.

One thing we learned the hard way is that the 1mm and 1.5mm diameters aren’t suited for anything beyond light edging on electric trimmers, they’ll snap in a second if you hit a fence post or a rock, so we only stock the 2.4mm minimum now for our crews, and the supplier’s COA on the Nylon6 gives us peace of mind on the UV resisance for sun-exposed jobs.
Common grade is for light residential use, Commercial handles regular jobs, Professional is tougher for daily mowing crews, and Ultra grade lasts longest in heavy brush — all made from 100% Nylon6, just with different durability levels.
Yes, we can do custom colors like green, red, orange, yellow, or blue. MOQ depends on the color and grade, so just let us know the diameter and quantity you're looking at.
We carry CE and ISO QC certifications. Yes, we can include test reports and certificates with your order — just request it when you place the order.
2.4mm works fine for most electric trimmers — it's lightweight and feeds easily. 2.7mm is better for gas brush cutters where you need more cutting power without snapping.
We offer 3lb, 4lb, 5lb, and 10lb spools, plus bulk coils or donut packs. They're stored in dry, temperature-controlled conditions to keep the nylon from absorbing moisture or warping.
