Runs on natural gas with a balanced pressure setup, so you get a single consistent flame rather than the flutter you'd see with cheaper injector-style torches—the duty cycle is 60% at 200A on mixed gas or 2300A on straight CO2, which basically means it'll hold up for longer passes in a production run without cooking the handle.
Wire diameter feeds from 0.8mm up to 1.2mm, and what it does is tighten weld bead control especially on thinner sheet metal where you don't want the puddle to wander; teh gas-cooled jacket stays manageable during a full shift, but if you're pushing past that 60% duty on thick plate (10-15mm max), you'll feel it warm up and need to let it rest.
Also, we ship these in three standard lengths—3m, 4m, or 5m—so you pick the reach you actually need, because a 5m torch that's too long just adds drag and wear on the liner with finer wires.
54 by 42 by 12 cm is what the packaged unit measures give or take, and we keep a fair amount of stock usually, but if you're ordering more than 50 units or so you'll want to check lead time since the 5m option sometimes gets held up (roughly 2-4 weeks).
Every batch comes with a COA form our ISO9001 line, though actual HPLC purity on the wire itself isn't something we test here—we source from a mill that certifies to CE standerd, but if you need tighter tolerance than ±0.05mm on wire diameter, you'd be better off with a dedicated MIG gun for that.
