Labs running weight management studies usually start with 5mg or 10mg depending on your batch size — we see most buyers go with the 10mg vial for preliminary assays. Basically, if you're titrating doses across multiple groups, the 25kg drum is easier to handle than splitting smaller packs.
It's a white to off-white powder, CAS 147732-56-7, with a molecular weight of 578.8 g/mol and purity verified at 99% or better by HPLC. You'll want to store it at -20°C in dry conditions — leave it out at room temp for more than a week and you'll see degradation, so plan your thaw cycles accordingly. The molecular formula is C30H54N6O5, and pharmaceutical grade means tighter tolerance than most research-only batches.
This isn't suited for anything beyond bench work — no human or animal use, period. We've seen it used in appetite regulation studies and metabolic function assays, but teh 25kg drum size means you're committing to volume (usually a 3-month supply for a mid-size lab). Anyway, COA comes with each batch, though we usually have stock, but confirm lead time for non-standdard purity requests.
Minimum order is one drum, we ship sealed drums with SDS and TDS included. Ordering takes about 20 days or so form payment (check lead time for international orders).
