In our lab we kept hitting plateaus with single-pathway agonists, patients just weren't responding consistently enough and we needed something that could hit both GIP and GLP-1 receptors at once without dosing into the stratosphere.
What we found solved selectivity problem—the dual mechanism actually means you need a lower dosage to get comparable effects, and it's pretty much a drop-in for existing protocols (just rehydrate in water or PBS).
Batch QC showed 99.7% purity by HPLC across all our vials, and the reconstitutes without visible residue—we've run probably 300 assays or so off a single 10mg vial and it held stability well at -20°C protected form light.
Inventory's been steady in 10-vial boxes, but we usually have stock on 5mg and 10mg sizes while the 30mg vials run a bit tighter—you'll want to confirm lead time if you need a bulk order, plus the 15mg option is better for long-term studies because of that it avoids freeze-thaw cycles.
One thing that surprised me is teh specificity—it's not appropriate for anything requiring shorter peptide pulses because the half-life pushes past 120 hours, so acute dosing designs won't work with this.
Lead times are normally 14 days give or take if we've got it in stock, and COAs come with each shipment showing HPLC traces and residual solvent data—we had 48 vials arrive and all passed without exception.
Our MOQ is one box of 10 vials per size, so for 5mg that would be 10 vials. You can mix different sizes in the same order, but each size still needs to meet its own box MOQ.
Yes, we include a CoA with every order that shows the HPLC purity results and other specs like appearance and solubility. Just request it when you place the order if it's not automatically attached.
Store it at -20°C and keep it protected from light. Under those conditions, the powder stays stable for at least 24 months. Once reconstituted, use it within a few days if refrigerated.
We can do custom packaging for larger orders, but for standard orders it's fixed at 10 vials per box. If you need individual vials, let us know the quantity and we'll quote a custom pack.
It's soluble in both water and PBS. We typically recommend reconstituting at 1-5 mg/mL for most assays, but you can adjust based on your protocol. Just avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles after reconstitution.
