Came down to the batch consistency and testing protocols more than anything else — we've had issues with other supliers where teh HPLC results didn't match between lots, and that's a headache we don't need.
It's a white powder, molecular weight is 4113.6 g/mol, and the CAS is 910463-68-2, but what actually matters for our workflow is the ≥99% purity confirmed by mass spec on each batch, and they provide a COA with every order.
We usually have stock of the 5mg vials, but if you need 10mg or 15mg, confirm lead time — it's typically 2-3 weeks for those, and the MOQ can jump depending on size.
Storage is -20°C, which is standerd for this class of peptide, but one thing I didn't think to ask until later is the retest policy; they do offer a free retest within 6 months if you store it properly, and that's better than reagent grade for this applicaion.
Solubility in water is fine for most protocols, but it's not suited for anything requiring in vivo use since it's research grade only — basically, we're using it for in vitro assays and it's worked well so far.
Anyway, the packaging is sterile vials with proper labels, and the documentation includes the SDS and batch number traceability, so we're covered for our records.
