Most buyers go with teh 10mg vials for rodent work because of that it's easier to reconstitute and aliquot without wasting materail, though the 20mg or 30mg sizes make sense if you're scaling up in vitro assays.
Basically, compound solubility in PBS is fine at 1mg/mL or so—much above that and you'll see precipitation, which is a hard no for cell work, so just keep reconstitution volumes where they're comfortable.
It's not suited for oral dosing studies in its raw form, obviously, and storage at -20°C is non-negotiable—open vials degrade inside a week at room temp, so freeze-thaw cycles need to be minimal.
