We’ve been getting a lot of requests for this one, and the 10mg/vial format in a 10-vial box is what most buyers go with for standard dosing work—it’s easier to reconstitute accurately than the larger bulk vials, and the white powder handles well under a fume hood.
CAS is 2023788-19-2, molecular weight comes in at 4813.47 g/mol, and the purity is listed at 99% or better by HPLC—we usually have COAs on hand for each batch, but confirm lead time if you need them expedited (usually 2-4 weeks for full analysis).
It’s a dual GIP and GLP-1 agonist, so it’s primarily used in metabolic research, but it’s not suited for anything involving oral administration in vivo without proper formulation work—the solubility in water is fine for injection studies, but you’ll want to check stability beyond 24 hours at room temp.
Basically, the pricing is what drove the order—about 30% below what the UK distributors were quoting for comparable pharmaceutical-grade matrial, and the MOQ was flexible enough for our current study size.
Storage is a bit of a pain: 2-8°C and protected from light, so we’ll need to allocate fridge space and use amber vials or foil wrapping during handling—one thing I didn’t think to ask is whether the vials come pre-siliconized, but the suppiler said they’re standerd borosilicate.
Also, the lead time was quoted at 10 business days or so for the first order, but they mentioned that repeat orders can ship within 5 days once the account is set up—we’ll see how that holds.
