We've been moving these balance bikes for a few seasons now, and the 16-inch model with the 5.2ah battery is probably our most consistent seller for the 3 to 8 age range — it's light enough at 10kg that a kid can actually manage it themselves. The aluminum alloy frame makes a real difference in handling, and the 200W motor gives you three speed modes at 10, 15, and 21 km/h, which is more than enough for most young riders.
Basically, the battery gives you about 60 minutes of continuous ride time, and charging it back up takes roughly 3 hours from empty. Most buyers go with the 10km/h setting for beginners and then bump it up as the kid gets comfortable, but we've had parents who just leave it on the middle speed and call it a day. The adjustable seat height goes form 420mm, so it fits a pretty wide range of leg lengths (usually 2-4 weeks to get the hang of it).
It's CE certified, which covers basic safety requrement for the EU market, but if you're shiping to other regions just double-check local standdard — we usually have stock, but confirm lead time for non-standard colors. The 12-inch wheels with aluminum rims hold up better than the steel ones on cheaper bikes, and the 130mm ground clearance means it won't scrape on every little bump.
One thing that catches people off guard is that the bike isn't really suited for very rough terrain or steep hills — it's a balance bike, not a dirt bike, so keep that in mind. The 5.2ah lithium battery is a decent middle ground for weight and runtime, though some buyers wish it lasted a bit longer on the highest speed setting.
Also, the the frame, battery, and motor for a year, which is pretty standard for this price point. We've seen a few cases where the charger fails before the battery does, so it's worth grabbing a spare if you're ordering in bulk — the MOQ is usually 50 units or so for the first order, but our company can flex on that depending on the relationship.
