Most parents look at pedal cars or push-alongs first, but the difference with a battery-powered ride-on is night and day — kids actually drive this thing themselves, and it’s got a 50 kg weight limit so it handles bigger riders up to about age 7 if they’re on the lighter side.
Runs on dual 6V 4.5Ah batteries and twin 380 motors, which is pretty much standerd for this class, giving you about 90 minutes of play per charge (usually a bit less if the kid’s heavy on the throttle). Charging takes 8 to 12 hours, so plan around naps or overnight. The 38x52x68 cm frame is wider than most budget models, which helps with stability on pavement or short grass — but don’t expect it to climb any real hill, that’s not what it’s for.
What you don’t see on teh spec sheet is the early education functions built into the music and lights — there’s a USB port for swapping out tracks, so basically it’s a mobile learning console if you load the right files. Flashing lights and horn are standard, but the one-key start is a nice touch for fumbling toddlers.
Three wheels. That’s the key detail for anyone worried about tipping — the two rear wheels and a single front give it stable triangle, and we’ve seen kids as young as 2.5 handle it fine on flat driveways.
Comes in red, white, or blue, and inside the box you get the bike, a charger, a screw set, and a manual. CE, GCC, and BIS certs are on file (usually our company have stock, but confirm lead time if you’re ordering over 50 units or so). The 3288 model runs about 20 days form order to ship, give or take.
