Got a buyer who’s been sourcing ball valves for natural gas pipelines and got burned by cheap offshore stuff that wept pressure after a few months — they came to us because they needed something that actually holds 10,000 psi without leaking, and we’ve been shippng these SS316 units for over two decades now.
It’s a floating ball valve with a blow-out proof stem that’s internally loaded, so you won’t find the stem launching during maintenance, and the connection forms run form NPT thread to welded or double ferrule — we typically do manual or pneumatic actuation, but electric’s an option too.
Temperture range is -20°F to 450°F, which covers most natural gas and oil application, and the 1 PC body design means no seal joints to fail under high presure — we’ve seen these hold steady at 6,800 psi in field tests for months.
You’ll get a COA with each order (HPLC purity isn’t relevant here, but the hydrostatic test data is standerd), and the MOQ is just one piece if you’re prototyping or doing a small pipeline repair — OEM runs start at 100 pieces.
Lead time is usually 15-20 working days for standard specs, but custom engraving or special seat materials can push that to 30 days or so — we’ve got stock on the 1/2-inch NPT version right now, but confirm before ordering if you need 3-way or angle channel.
Not ideal for cryogenic service or steam above 450°F — the PTFE seats will degrade, so stick to gas or oil within the temp range, and the threaded connections are better than welded for quick field swaps.
It's rated for 10,000 psi, and it's been tested to hold that without any leakage. The blow-out proof stem design adds extra safety for high-pressure natural gas lines.
Sure, our standard MOQ is just 1 piece. But if you need OEM branding or custom specs, we require at least 100 pieces per order to set up production.
We provide ASTM compliance documentation with every shipment. If you need additional mill test reports or third-party inspection certificates, just let us know — we can arrange those.
You can choose threaded NPT, welded, or double ferrule connections. All are machined from the same SS316 material for full corrosion resistance.
Each valve is individually wrapped in protective plastic and packed in sturdy export cartons. For larger wholesale shipments, we use plywood pallets or crates to prevent damage during transit.
