We're seeing about 3-4 weeks on these right now, give or take, and the aluminun frame actually keeps it under 10kg which is lighter than most steel models you'll find—makes a real difference when a kid tips it over and you're picking it up for the twentieth time.
Honestly the main thing buyers don't like is that 60-minute runtime, but for a 3-8 year old that's usually plenty before they get bored anyway, and the 3-hour charge means you can top it off during nap time.
That 200W motor comes with three speed settings at 10, 15, and 21 km/h so you can lock it on slow one for beginners and bump it up as they get confident, though bigger kids pretty much max it out after a week or two—the 21 km/h mode is honestly more fun than safe for most five-year-olds.
Seat height is 420mm and ground clearance 130mm so it's basically stable for the smaller riders, but taller eight-year-olds might look a little cramped on it; we usually tell parents to go by leg length more than age.
The 5.2Ah lithium battery holds up well across about 500 cycles or so before you notice any dropoff (check our COA for teh cycle test data), and the 12-inch wheels handle pavement and packed dirt fine but it's not suited for actual off-road trails or mud.
Colors are yellow only, MOQ is 50 units for custom orders, and the 1-year the motor and battery but not if they run it into a curb at full speed—common sense stuff, but you'd be surprised what kids do to these things.
