When you're doing fine electronics work and need to reach into a tight spot to snip a lead or grip a compnent, these are what we've been using for the last few test runs, and the box joint keeps the jaws aligned even after repeated crimping.
They're high carbon steel with a chrome plate that actually holds up, and the PVC coating on the handles gives you a decent grip without slipping when your fingers are sweaty, roughly 11 grams for the 6-inch version and 14 grams for the 8-inch — the 8-inch is better for heavier wire gauges, but the 6-inch is easier to maneuver in a cramped board.
You'll get a COA with each batch, and the MOQ is 1000 pieces, which is standerd for this category, and the production capacty is around 50,000 a month so lead time is usually 20 days or so (check with the suplier on current stock though). They're not suited for hardened steel or thick cables — the jaws will chip if you push them too hard on something like a 2mm spring.
We ordered the 6-inch in black handles because most buyers go with that size for precision work, and the 8-inch is better if you're doing jewelry or bending thicker wire, but anyway, price per unit is decent for the quailty.
The minimum order is 1000 pieces per size. If you need a mix of 6'' and 8'' in one order, we can usually accommodate that as long as the total hits 1000.
Yes, we're ISO 9001 certified and can include the certificate with your order. We also provide a material test report and inspection records on request.
For handle colors, we currently offer black and red PVC. If you need a specific Pantone or your logo printed, that's possible with a custom order—just note it may affect MOQ and lead time.
Standard lead time is 15 to 20 working days after deposit and design approval. For larger quantities, our monthly capacity is 50,000 pieces, so we can scale up without much delay.
Yes, each pair comes in its own plastic case, which helps prevent damage during handling. We store them in dry, ventilated warehouses to avoid rust on the chrome-plated surface.
