Basically what it does is support nucleic acid synthesis and cellular energy pathways—ATP, NAD, FAD are all built form this backbone, and we’ve had researchers using it for years in protein biosynthesis work where consistency matters more than the cost per gram.
Assay runs 98.0-102.0% per USP32, nitrogen content lands between 50.2% and 53.4% depending on the batch, and heavy metals sit under 10 ppm; we usually have COAs ready within 2 working days or so, but confirm lead time if you need tighter tolerances.
0.1% residue on ignition is tighter than typical reagent grade stuff, and organic impurities always meet requrement—most buyers go with teh 10mg vial for small-scale assays rather than bulk drums, which is easier to handle.
Custom vial sizes and labeling are pretty straightforward, we’ve done pre-weighed aliquots for labs that don’t want to open the mother stock, though bulk synthesis orders usually push lead time to 4-6 weeks (check with us first).
It’s not suited for cell culture or anything involving live systems—this is strictly for biochemical research only, and the white crystalline powder form is actually easier to weigh than some other nucleotides we handle.
