It's a full-bore design, so you get minimal pressure drop and maximum flow—critical when you're pushing gas or water through industiral lines. The body is CW617N or DZR brass, basically the stuff that handles dezincification better than most, and pressure ratings go from PN1.0 all the way up to PN32.0 depending on the size you pick, which is roughly 1/2" to 2" (DN15 to DN50).

Temperature range is -20°C to 99°C, and the sealing is PTFE, Teflon, or EPDM, though we usually recommend PTFE for most applications. Thread standard vary too, so you'll get ISO228, NPT, BSPT, or BSPP—confirm which one when ordering (lead time is typically 20 days or so). Suface finish is either natural brass or nickel chroming; nickel holds up better in damp environments, but natural is fine for interior lines.

Brass Gas Ball Valve

We've got ISO9001, SGS, and TUV certs behind these, and every unit goes through 100% leakage testing before shipment. You'll get a COA with the batch, and MOQ is negotiable, so don't worry if you're only looking at a few dozen units for a pilot line or something.

Brass Valve Assembly

Most buyers in the gas industry go with the nickel-chromed version, actually—it resists corrosion longer when you've got condensate buildup. For water lines, natural brass works fine, and it's a bit cheaper (usually 10-15% less). OEM service is availble, but that might add 2-3 weeks to teh lead time depending on the branding.

One thing—don't use these for steam or anything above 99°C, PTFE seal will degrade. Also, full bore means the valve body's bigger than standard ball valves for the same pipe size, so check your clearance before installing. Three thousand units or so is what we usually keep in stock for the 1/2" and 3/4" sizes, but the 2" version might need a few extra days.

Frequently Asked Questions

What's the minimum order quantity for the 2-inch DZR brass ball valve?

Our MOQ is negotiable, so you can start with smaller quantities for the 2-inch size. Just let us know your target volume and we'll work out a deal.

Do you have SGS or TUV test reports for the PN32.0MPa rated valves?

Yes, we can provide ISO9001, SGS, and TUV certification documents upon request. Just ask for the specific pressure test reports and we'll send them over.

Can you customize the thread standard to NPT for a 1/2-inch gas valve order?

Absolutely, we offer ISO228, NPT, BSPT, and BSPP threads. For 1/2-inch NPT, just specify it in your order and we'll produce them accordingly.

What's the typical lead time for a full-bore DN50 nickel-chromed valve?

Standard lead time is around 15-25 days for DN50 nickel-chromed valves, depending on order volume. We can rush it if needed—just confirm the quantity.

Is the PTFE packing suitable for natural gas at 99°C continuous operation?

Yes, PTFE handles -20°C to 99°C fine for gas applications. For continuous high-temp use, we also have EPDM seals available if you prefer.
