What kept happening was the nurses on the ortho floor couldn't keep their IV pumps, waste bins, and charting organized on those cramped little trays, and we kept getting reports of sharps containers sitting on the floor or meds just sort of piled up on a side table, so I looked for something with actual dedicated storage built in.

It basically solves that with a 5-drawer setup—two small ones up top for IV lines and tape, two mediums for pump accessories, one deep drawer that'll hold a liter bag or an extra monitor—and you get a retractable side table that flips out when they need to chart, plus a liftable device box on top that's pretty much a tray for an infusion pump, 150kg capacity gives you plenty of margin.

The antimicrobial coating on ABS structure is a spec I don't usually chase but with this unit it's standard, and the plastic triangular column load design—we've seen some cheaper trolleys sag after a few months but this frame is aluminum-steel underneath, the casters are 4-inch swivel with two locking so it stays put on a sloped floor, usually ships within 20 days or so from the warehose.

Drawers use a 3×3 adjustable divider system which is actually handy for stocking different-sized supply packs, and the work surfce has those 95mm guardrails which I know seems minor until a full saline bag starts rolling, 3L sharps box and a dual-compartment bin are included which cuts down on what the floor manager has to order seprately.

We typically keep the blue standard color in stock but the OEM lead time on a custom color (check minimum order quantity though) is roughly 4-6 weeks, CE and ISO 13485 are on file, and the big thing for us was the stainlss steel edge on the table top—most ABS carts chip at the rim but this one has that trim, not suited for heavy trauma bays where they're slamming monitors onto it but it's a solid match for med-surg and step-down units.
