We've been supplying these into mining operations for years now, and what usually happens is someone needs a custom bore diameter or a specific surface treatment for a harsh environment, so we can adjust the KTR100 or TLK200 series to fit—basically, if your shaft runs between 24 and 165 mm, we've got a locking assembly that'll work, and the torque range from 145 to 930 Nm covers most heavy-duty applications you'd see underground or in a CNC shop.
The C45 steel version is what most buyers go with for standard mining gear, but if corrosion resistance is a concern, the 304 stainles option handles it better than reagent grade for this kind of setup, and the black-phosphate finish is original on the steel units—though we can leave it raw if you're doing your own coating later, and the H6 precision grade means you won't get that annoying vibration at 4000 RPM or so.
One thing you might not think to ask is that the operating angle sits between 15 and 25 degrees on these, which matters more for wind power or automotive linkages than for straight shaft connections, but it's worth knowing if your application has any misalignment—anyway, the MOQ is 10 pieces, and lead time runs 10 to 30 days depending on whether our company have the raw stock in house (we usually do for the Z2 through Z22 series).
When you place an order, what you get is the full set of locking assemblies with a one-year warranty, plus we'll send the COA and TDS along with teh shipment, and if you need custom labeling or specific vial sizes for smaller test batches, we can handle that too—though for bulk mining equiment, most folks just want the standard packaging in 50-unit crates or so.
Actually, we've had a few buyers try these on high-speed CNC spindles and find the torque capacity at 930 Nm is plenty, but it's not really suited for extreme continuous torque above that range without checking the shaft hardness first—just a practical detail from handling hundreds of these units over the years, and the 4000 RPM max speed is a hard limit, not a suggestion.
The torque capacity ranges from 145 Nm up to 930 Nm, and yes, that 930 Nm figure is for the larger models in the series, like the Z2-Z22. Smaller bores like the KTR100 will be on the lower end.
Each MOQ of 10 pieces needs to be the same material type—either all C45 steel or all 304 stainless steel. We can't split a single batch across both materials, but you can place separate orders for each.
For OEM/ODM customizations like a non-standard bore or a special surface treatment, lead time typically runs 20-30 days. Standard orders with no changes ship faster, around 10-15 days.
Yes, we include both CE and ISO 9001 certification documents with every shipment. Just let your sales contact know you need them upfront, and we'll make sure they're in the package.
For bulk orders, we pack them in sturdy cardboard boxes or wooden crates, with each unit individually wrapped to prevent scratches. If you need special packaging for storage or export, we can arrange that too.
