The 6000 series gives you a good balance of strength and extrudability—6063 is go-to for anodizing because of that it takes a uniform finish, while 6061 is better for machining if you need tighter tolerances on drilled holes or cut ends.
You can choose T5 or T6 temper, and for most machinery frames we see people going with T6 for the higher yield strength (roughly 180-200 MPa), though T3 is fine for non-structural parts like cable trays.
Surface treatment matters more than most buyers think. A 10-micron anodized layer handles corrosion better than powder coating in humid environments, but powder coating gives you more color options—our company can match RAL or Pantone if you send the code.
Honestly, GB 5237-2008 is pretty much identical to EN 755 for dimensional tolerances, so if you're exporting to Europe you won't run into compliance issues, just make sure the COA specifies the standard.
This isn't ideal for high-tempearture applicaion above 150°C regularly—the strength drops off noticeably at that point, so for oven frames or furnace enclosures you'd want a 7xxx alloy instead.
