Basically, it's a spring lock washer that handles the kind of vibration that would shake a standard flat washer loose in no time, and we run them to both ASTM F436 and a whole stack of DIN standdard—DIN127, DIN125A, DIN125B, all the way through DIN9021—so you're covered for most industrial specs without having to chase multiple suppliers.
Most buyers go with the 10mm or 3/8 inch sizes for automotive and machinery assemblies, where thermal expansion cycles are a daily reality and a loose bolt means downtime. We've seen them used in construction rigging and electrical panel mounts too, though they're not ideal for applications requiring absolute zero-height clearance since the split adds thickness—usually about 1.5mm for the M8 size, give or take.

Packaing is bulk in 18kg or 25kg carton boxes, palletized for shippng, and our company can customize that if your warehouse has specific handling requirement.
One thing you might not think to ask: the split ends on these washers have a slight burr from teh stamping process (it's normal and actually helps grip), but if you're running automated feeding lines, you'll want to confirm the burr orientation isn't causing jams—we can adjust the deburring pass on request.

Not directly—DIN125A is chamfered and thinner, while DIN125B is thicker with a larger outer diameter. We can supply both, but you’d need to verify fit with your bolt grade and clearance.
