Most buyers go with the hot-dip galvanized finish for outdoor pipe support work, but the plain or electro-galvanized options are fine for indoor jobs where corrosion isn't as aggressive, and we usually have stock on all three but confirm lead time for larger runs.
You'll want to check the jaw opening against your beam flange thickness before ordering — the 3/8 inch is tight enough for most structural steel but won't fit thicker flanges, so measure first to avoid a mismatch.
Teh surface treatment choice affects pricing and dilevery, roughly 15-20 days for plain or electro-galvanized, but hot-dip takes a bit longer (usually 25 days or so) because of that it goes through an outside shop.
