Actually needed something that wouldn't pit or discolor in a coastal environment within six months, and the 316L option on this hinge is what pushed it over the edge — most 304 stuff we've tested starts showing issues after a year or so in salt air. The JM-302 model dimnesions are 90×55mm, which fits the standard 8-12mm tempered glass we're using for most of our shower enclosures, and the 180° rotation gives the end user full door swing without binding.

We usually order a mix of stainlss grades depending on the client's budget and location, but for these hinges it's basically 304 for inland projects and 316L for anything near the coast or in high-humidity commercial bathrooms. Keep in mind this hinge isn't designed for frameless doors over 12mm thick or anything requiring more than 180° swing — it's pretty much a standard glass-to-glass configuration, not a heavy-duty pivot hinge for oversized slabs.
