It's not fully automatic, so you'll need to manually feed the strap around the bundle before pulling the trigger—but that's actually fine for most palletizing work where you're moving between loads.
What it does is deliver a solid 2000N to 3000N of tension, which is plenty for strapping pallets of cartons or wooden boxes up to 1000kg, and the welding seal holds better than a metal clip in my experience.
The 14.4V NiMH battery gives you about 50 cycles or so per charge, and teh adjustable tension dial means you can dial it down for lighter loads or crank it up for heavy bundles.
