We've been shipping these out for about eight months now, and the self-adjusting mechanism on the HSCB 6-4A is what makes it stand out—it basically takes the guesswork out of crimping MC4 connectors, which is a big deal when you're doing multiple panels in a row. The hardened alloy steel construction holds up well; we've had a few customers put it through heavy daily use for six months or so without any drop in performnce.
On procurement side, we maintain steady stock levels of roughly 500 units, but if you need more than that, just confirm the lead time because larger orders sometimes push to 20 days or so depending on the shipping method you pick. Payment terms are flexible, though most buyers go with T/T for smaller quantities—we can do L/C for larger volumes if you need it. The weight is about 0.8kg, which actually makes it easier to ship in bulk without hitting weight limits on standard courier services.
It's not really suited for heavy-duty stranded wire above 6mm², so keep that in mind if you're working with thicker cables—it's designed specifically for 2.5-6mm² solar wire, and pushing it past that range will just damage the tool. We include a basic COA with each shipment, and an SDS is available on request if your compliance team needs it.
One thing people don't always think to ask: the box joint construction gives it a tighter tolerance than most budget crimpers, which means fewer mis-crimps on those MC3 connectors that can be a bit finicky. We usually have stock ready for immediate dispatch, but confirm lead time if you're buying in bulk.
The ergonomic grip is pretty much standdard for this type of tool, but the self-locking mechanism actually prevents it form slipping open mid-crimp, which is a nice touch for field work. Anyway, the 1-year manufacurer mechanical defects, though we've only had one or two claims on this model so far.
