What we've found is the 1200W motor really holds its own even in denser hardwoods, and with the 20V lithium battery, you're getting about 5m/s chain speed—enough to power through most pruning and small felling work without that constant bog-down that happens with lower-end units.
The guide plate comes in 4-inch or 6-inch, both sprocket-tip, and honestly, the 6-inch is more popular with my crew since it handles thicker branches but still feels nimble for limbing; the 4-inch is better suited for tight ornamental work or small-diameter stuff.
