On your RFQ — for sample quantities it's about $85 for a box of 10 vials at the 5mg size, mid-level orders drop to around $62 per box, and once you're talking 50 boxes or more our company can get that down to roughly $48 — the 99% purity is consistent across all tiers, we run HPLC, and lyophilized powder reconstitutes cleanly in sterile water or bacteriostatic water.
You'll want to know what works for most buyers — they usually go with teh 10mg vials for standerd dose-response studies, but if you're doing longer-term work the 30mg vials save on reconstitution time. We've had this product out for about three years now, and the shelf life is 2 years stored at -20°C, but I've seen it hold up fine at -80°C for longer — not that we guarantee that.
Actually, one thing that catches people off guard is the reconstitution volume — with the 15mg vial you need to be careful not to add too much diluent, because the peptide concentration drops fast, and that can mess with your dosing accuracy. We include a COA with every box, and the MOQ is just one box so you can test a small batch first.
It's not suited for anything beyond research use — I know some folks ask about human appliction, but we strictly label it for lab work only, and the origin is China with standard TDS and SDS documentation. The lead time is usually 2-3 weeks for orders under 100 boxes, but we've been seeing some delays on the 20mg vials recently (check current stock before you commit).
Anyway, for a 48-week study you'd probably want the 20mg or 30mg vials — the 5mg and 10mg are better for short-term metabolic assays or pilot work. Most researchers find the 10mg per vial sweet spot works well for weekly dosing in rodent models, but I've seen some groups use the 15mg for larger animals.
