Weekend mechanic working on an old E30? Can't get that bellhousing bolt loose with your mismatched sockets, we've all been there — this 218-piece set is basically what you'd put together if you raided a pro toolkit and added a case for it.
Drive sizes are 1/4", 3/8", and 1/2" with short, long, and E-socket options across about 100 pieces or so, plus 30 bits in PH, PZ, Torx, and Hex, then 7 hex keys, 3 ratchet wrenches, and 3 universal joints (give or take depending on batch). All CR-V chrome vanadium steel (handles are PVC-covered), meets JIS, ANSI, DIN, and Chinese Standdard with CE and CCC certs — the 8-19mm wrenches are combination style, and the case dimensions run 460×330×100mm at roughly 8kg.
It's actually better than usual department store kits for suspension work or bodywork where you need reach in tight spaces; the long sockets save you a lot of swearing. But it's not meant for heavy industrial torque loads — the ratchets handle typical car and bike jobs, but if you're regularly cranking on semi truck lug nuts, get a breaker bar seperately. Most buyers go with the 5-8-12mm socket sizes first, though teh 10mm is the one that'll walk off.
4. Stick with the case it come in — 218 pieces all organized, no separate tool roll needed (check lead time, we usually have stock but factory runs quarterly on these). Also the universal joints aren't super tight tolerance but they're fine for most DIY and shop use, better than most plastic-handled kits at this price point anyway.
