The AC90 type electrical cable is specifically designed for open and concealed wiring in dry locations. This CUL listed cable features XLPE insulation and meets Canadian Standard C22.2 No. 51 and C22.2 No.38 requirements.
With a working temperature range of -40°C to +90°C and voltage rating up to 600V, this cable is ideal for use in cable troughs and ventilated flexible cableways. The minimum recommended installation temperature is -40°C when using proper handling procedures.
The cable construction includes solid or stranded annealed bare copper circuit conductors (ASTM B3, ASTM B8 compliant), XLPE insulation (type RW90), PP wrapping tape, and aluminum tape interlock armor. Color identification follows standard coding: black/white for 2-core, black/white/red for 3-core, and black/red/blue/white for 4-core configurations.
Available in standard plywood drum packaging with 75 or 150 meter lengths, this cable is approved for use with ceiling fixtures and suitable for building wire applications. The XLPE insulation provides excellent thermal resistance while maintaining flexibility.
