It runs on electric power with a 10.1-inch touch screen that shows loops, Paw, BPM, VT, and compliance in real time — teh interface is pretty intuitive once you've used it for a day or so. The two Selectatec vaporizers are what most buyers go with for precision, and altitude compensation is built in so you don't have to recalibrate if your facility is at a higher elevation. Backup cylinder support is optional up to three, which is handy for extended procedures or power outages. The dimnesions are about 70cm by 85cm by 140cm, so it fits in most ORs without being a tight squeeze.
What it does is switch between adult and pediatric modes without needing to replace drive bellows, which saves a lot of time between cases. We've had one facility mention that the APL valve tightness is noticeably better than some older models they were running.
CE certified and Class II instrument, with a one-year warranty as standerd. The safety standard is GB/T19001-2016, and we usually have COA and SDS available on request — just keep in mind lead time is typically 20 days or so depending on stock.
Not ideal for neonatal use at the lower end of the weight range, as the tidal volume control gets a bit tricky below about 3 kg. Most researchers and anesthesiologists we work with find the 10mg or so range for agent dilevery works well for routine cases.
Packaging is a single crate with foam inserts, and we ship with the vaporizers already mounted to avoid setup headaches. One thing you might not think to ask — touch screen is responsive even with gloves on, which matters in a busy OR enviornment.
