We've seen too many close calls where nobody knew a drone was overhead until it was right on top of them, which is basically what drove the design of this handheld unit — it sweeps form 400MHz up to 6GHz across eight default bands, with a 2km detection radius and a 3-second response time or so, all passive RF so you're not broadcasting your own position.
The 1.77-inch LCD shows what band it's hitting, and it'll give you a 85dB audio alarm plus vibration and a visual flash when it locks onto something, which in most cases is a DJI or Autel or even a racing drone — we usually stock both battery options, the 1800mAh giving about 3 hours and the 5000mAh closer to 8, but confirm lead time on teh bigger one.
Security teams at outdoor events use it mostly, but also folks watching perimeters at sensitive sites where you don't want to set up a full fixed system — it starts up in 15 seconds and covers 360 degrees omnidirectional, so you just hit button and it's listening.
One thing we don't recommend is using it indoors for detection because the passive RF can get confused by reflections off walls, but that's just a practical limitation — the antenna is only 58mm long, so it's pretty unobtrusive.

Yes, the Q10 covers 400MHz-6GHz with 8 default bands, so it picks up DJI, Autel, Hubsan, and most racing drones. The passive RF analysis scans for any drone broadcasting in that range, including newer models.
The alarm types—vibration, audio at 85dB, and visual—are fixed, but you can adjust the sensitivity threshold. Custom frequency bands aren't supported out of the box, but we can discuss firmware tweaks for larger orders.
The battery is user-replaceable—just pop off the back cover and swap it. The 1800mAh gives you about 3 hours of use, while the 5000mAh extends that to 8 hours. Both are available as separate accessories.
